BEST ENGLISH HERITAGE SITES
England is home to some of the most magnificent historic buildings and monuments. English Heritage, formally known as English Heritage Trust is the popular entity that cares for these wondrous national collections of historic buildings and monuments. These best English Heritage sites are sprinkled all around the country, and visiting these heritage sites is an adventure in itself.
According to English Heritage website, they are the guardian of “over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites – from world-famous prehistoric sites to grand medieval castles, from Roman forts on the edges of the empire to a Cold War bunker”.
Their purpose is to “bring the story of England to life for over 10 million people each year“
I have been a member of English Heritage for the last couple of years and have visited some of the best English Heritage Sites. While I have not written on all of the sites yet, here are some that I have written about, which I hope you will enjoy discovering.
