At Espanya Station: Locate and board a L3 (Green Line) metro train heading towards “Trinitat Nova.”
Ride Duration: The journey from Espanya to Paral·lel is very short, typically taking about 5 minutes or less, as it’s only two stops away.
Arrival at Paral·lel: After departing Espanya, the next stop will be Poble Sec, followed by Paral·lel, which is your destination. Upon arriving at Paral·lel station, you can exit the metro and follow the signs to the Montjuïc Funicular.

Public Buses: Buses like line 150 can take you closer to specific attractions, including Montjuïc Castle, the Olympic Stadium, and several museums. This is a convenient way to move around, especially for longer distances within Montjuïc.
Hop-On Hop-Off Tourist Bus: This is a great option as the service offers a flexible way to explore, with stops at major attractions. You can get off at a site, explore, and then catch the next bus to another location.

My preferred seasons to visit Barcelona has been in late winter or early spring and in the autumn as I love the cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. The ideal time to visit Montjuïc largely depends on your preferences for weather and crowd sizes.
Spring (March to May) is delightful, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 20°C (54°F to 68°F), making it perfect for exploring the outdoor attractions and blooming gardens.
Summer (June to August) brings warmer weather, with daytime temperatures typically between 24°C to 30°C (75°F to 86°F), occasionally reaching up to 34°C (93°F) during heatwaves. While sun protection is essential, early mornings and late afternoons offer cooler, more comfortable conditions.
Autumn (September to November), with its mild temperatures of 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F), offers a less crowded and equally pleasant experience.
